Sorted specializes in residential organizing to create better-functioning systems in your home. Clearing clutter that is outdated, unused, or unwanted is a freeing experience, as this clutter only consumes your space and time. Clients can book organizing sessions hourly or as a package.

This is the first step to getting organized with Sorted. I offer complimentary 20-minute phone consultations where we’ll discuss challenges and goals.
Residential Organizing
As a Residential Organizing Specialist, I tackle kitchens, closets, storage areas, basements, attics, and all the nooks and crannies. Each project receives a thorough review with attention to detail, a stylized plan, and a thoughtfully executed new system. This service includes pre-move editing or unpacking from a move (get organized from the start!)
Closet Design & Organization
I will help transform your closet to get the most out of your space. Whether this means reducing your wardrobe, buying bins and baskets to aid in organization, or designing a brand new closet, we will work together to create a better-functioning closet space. If we decide to install a custom closet system, I work with several companies to design the perfect closet to suit your home and lifestyle.
Maintenance
I follow up once your home is organized to see how everything is going. Sometimes, things get cluttered up again; that’s okay! The organization process requires maintenance, which aids in keeping your home in order. We can schedule a maintenance visit to get your home back in orderly shape. Maintenance appointments can be scheduled bi-monthly, monthly, or every few months.

In the beginning, clients need to be part of the organization process. We will work through your belongings and decide what serves you and what should go, as many items will have to be donated or responsibly disposed of.

Uncovering the layers of your personal life is emotional yet rewarding. As a professional organizer, I create a space of trust to guide you through decluttering. Most importantly, I’m not there to judge the situation but to help the situation. When we show up with an eagerness for change and excitement for progress, a sense of relief can be found after working through all the clutter. With residential organizing, the problem solved is the obvious decluttering of belongings and the weight of the burden tied to it all.
Plan with patience.
Once we've determined what stays and what goes, I will discuss a plan to organize the treasures you want to keep. Keep in mind that organizing takes time. The process may take one day or, based on the conditions, several days or weeks. Patience is key; after all, unorganized areas become unorganized over time. I do not judge or criticize messes or disorganization. I understand life gets messy and time escapes you, which is why I can help.
Get Sorted™
Once we've sorted through the clutter, I get to work organizing everything into place. Typically, I complete this step on my own. First, I determine if we need supplies to make the organizing process more efficient. Containers, bins, baskets, shelving, hooks, and hangers are common additions. When I purchase supplies for a job, it is tailored to that specific job. Combining freshly organized belongings with new baskets or containers creates a beautifully transformed space.

Downsizing
Whether you are an empty nester downsizing into a smaller home or an individual wanting to simplify your life, paring down your belongings can be an overwhelming task. I assist by helping sort through your items and organizing the true treasures you want to keep.
Holiday & Seasonal Organization
I assist with holiday decorating, including putting everything away in an orderly fashion once the holiday celebrations have come to an end. Additionally, I help with seasonal closet rotations and storage (putting those wool gloves away until needed!)
